The editors of the journal Postępy Higieny i Medycyny Doświadczalnej (Advances in Hygiene and Experimental Medicine) inform that from July 1, 2021 the publisher of the journal is Sciendo (De Gruyter Poland Sp.z o.o.). Further articles are published on the website https://sciendo.com/journal/AHEM. Materials for consideration for publication in the journal should be submitted via online submission system Editorial Manager, available in the Submit tab (https://www.editorialmanager.com/phmd).
Advances in Hygiene and Experimental Medicine (PHMD) is a scientific journal affiliated with the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy by the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław. The journal publishes articles from the field of experimental medicine and related sciences, with particular emphasis on immunology, oncology, cell biology, microbiology, and genetics. All journal publications are available via the Open Access formula in line with the principles of the Creative Commons licence.
Until 2004, articles were published in Postępy Higieny i Medycyny Doświadczalnej only in Polish. In 2005, the journal began accepting articles in English. Since 2022, the journal publishes exclusively English-language papers. This entails the introduction of the English version of the journal’s title.
